Meet the family behind Kay and Co Clothing, the independent women's fashion shop on North Street, Daventry, inspired by our little boy, Kayden.
Every shop has a story. Ours begins with the most precious person in our lives: our little boy, Kayden.
The name Kay & Co Clothing was inspired by him. He is our little boy, our motivation, and the reason behind a dream that has finally become real.
So when you see our name over the door, you’ll know where it came from. It’s a little piece of our family, right there on North Street.
When we moved to Daventry three years ago, I quickly realised how hard it could be to find the clothes I wanted without travelling to different cities.
Shopping online wasn’t always the answer either. What arrived wasn’t always what I had imagined. The colour was off. The fit was wrong. The fabric felt nothing like the photo.
I wanted something different. I wanted a place where people could find clothes they genuinely love, feel confident in what they wear, and enjoy shopping without having to travel far.
And that’s when the idea started to grow.

I decided to create a clothing shop based on my own style, my passion for fashion, and one simple belief: fashion has no limits.
Kay & Co is a place for everyone to discover something that makes them feel good. Your age doesn’t matter. Your shape doesn’t matter. Whether you love bold prints or quiet classics, there’s room for you here.
That’s why we handpick every single piece ourselves. We choose clothes we’d happily wear, and clothes we think you’ll love too.
Built With Our Own Hands
Kay & Co Clothing is much more than just a clothes shop.
Every little detail, inside and out, has been created with our own hands. My partner and I have put our hearts, our time, our energy and everything we could into making this dream come true.
Even our little Kayden has been part of the journey, in his own little way.
There have been long days. Hard work. Challenges. Moments when we’ve had to give everything we had. But we did it together, as a family, because we believe in what we’re building.
Opening Day: 10th October 2026
On 10th October 2026, Kay & Co Clothing officially opened its doors in Daventry.
It’s a day that will always mean so much to us. It marked the start of something we had worked so hard to bring to life. If you were one of our very first customers, thank you for being part of it.

We chose Daventry because it’s our home now, and it has such a strong community spirit. Shopping local keeps the high street busy and helps small family businesses like ours to grow.
We’re also an easy trip from lots of nearby towns and villages, including Rugby, Northampton, Banbury, Towcester, Southam, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Weedon, Long Buckby and Braunston.
